iam-vetted: UK Workforce Credentials Marketplace

1. About iam-vetted

IAM-VETTED LTD (“iam-vetted”, “we”, “us”) operates a UK workforce credentials marketplace.

We provide a platform where workers can submit their own information and employers can review that information.

Important: iam-vetted does not verify, approve, confirm, or guarantee the accuracy of any information submitted on the platform.

We apply basic validation and formatting checks to submitted information, but this does not mean that any information is genuine, valid, or verified.

2. Your account

You must:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Keep your login details secure
  • Be at least 18 years old

You are responsible for all activity on your account.

3. Phone verification (optional)

We may offer the ability to verify your phone number to enhance account security and trust. You are not required to complete phone verification to use the platform. However, certain features or visibility may be affected if your account is not verified.

If you choose to verify your phone number, you confirm that the number belongs to you and that you are authorised to use it.

4. Your profile and information

You may create a profile and submit information including:

  • Personal details
  • Work history and availability
  • Verification references (e.g. DVLA, Right to Work, DBS, insurance)

All information is worker-submitted. You are solely responsible for its accuracy and keeping it up to date.

Identity fields. Once your profile is active, your legal name and year of birth cannot be changed via the dashboard. If you need to update these fields because of a genuine legal change (for example, a name change by deed poll or following marriage), contact us at hello@iam-vetted.com with documentation confirming the change.

5. How the platform works

Employers can search for your profile. Employers can unlock your profile using credits. Once unlocked, employers can view your profile information and contact you by email. If you have an active subscription, employers who unlock your profile can also see your phone contact details.

iam-vetted structures and displays data and provides links to official verification services.

Any indicators, badges, or status labels on the platform show that information has been provided and meets basic format or completeness checks only. They do not indicate verification, approval, or accuracy.

iam-vetted does not verify any information.

6. Subscriptions

6.1 Plans

  • Basic: £49/year
  • Premium: £99/year

6.2 Payment terms

Subscriptions are paid in advance. No automatic renewal applies. You must manually renew. Fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by law.

6.3 Expiry

If your subscription expires:

  • Your profile remains visible in employer search and can still be unlocked
  • Employers who unlock your profile can still contact you by email
  • Employers do not see your phone contact details while your subscription is expired
  • Paid-tier features are not available while your subscription is expired
  • Employers who unlocked your profile before your subscription expired keep their access to your profile, but no longer see your phone contact details while your subscription is expired

6.4 Payments and Subscription Terms

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. When you make a payment, you will be directed to Stripe’s hosted payment page where your card details are entered directly and are not stored by IAM-VETTED LTD. We receive limited information from Stripe, such as your name, email address, and payment status, in order to confirm and administer your subscription. Stripe may also process your personal data as an independent controller for fraud prevention and regulatory compliance in accordance with its own privacy policy. IAM-VETTED LTD remains the merchant of record and is responsible for the services provided to you. Subscriptions are provided for a fixed annual term. They do not renew automatically. You must actively purchase a new subscription at the end of each term to continue access.

7. Profile visibility and status

Your profile may be temporarily hidden or limited in visibility (“under review”) if:

  • Your verification references expire
  • Your information requires review

This may affect your visibility to employers.

This is not a permanent decision, and you may update your information or request review.

8. Verification references and expiry

You are responsible for ensuring your references remain current.

If required information expires or becomes outdated, your profile may be hidden or limited until updated.

9. Automated checks and review

We use automated systems to analyse submitted information, including identifying inconsistencies and generating risk indicators based on predefined rules.

These systems:

  • Assist in identifying potential issues
  • Do not make final decisions about you

If an issue is detected:

  • You will be notified
  • You can update your information
  • You can request a manual review at any time

No permanent action is taken without human review.

We may restrict, suspend, or close accounts where data concerns are not resolved.

10. Data sharing

If an employer unlocks your profile, your information will be shared with them, including:

  • Contact details: email, and phone where you have an active subscription
  • Profile information
  • Verification references

You acknowledge that:

  • Employers are responsible for verifying your information
  • Employers act as independent controllers of your data
  • iam-vetted is not responsible for how employers use your data

11. Account deletion

You may request account deletion at any time. Your profile will be hidden promptly. Your data will be deleted in line with our retention policy, typically within 30 days.

12. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to manipulate or misuse the platform

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach.

13. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • iam-vetted does not verify or guarantee the accuracy of any information on the platform
  • iam-vetted is not responsible for hiring decisions or outcomes
  • You acknowledge that employers may rely on information you provide, and you are responsible for its accuracy

iam-vetted shall not be liable for any loss arising from reliance on information displayed on the platform.

iam-vetted’s total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous 12 months.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded by law.

14. Changes to the service

We may update or modify the platform from time to time. We will not remove core functionality without reasonable notice.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
